17.09.2012, Combined Review and Progress Meeting

Rome, Italy, June 20-22, 2012

The ARISTOTEL consortium enyoing an impressive view on the city of Rome.

The Dipartimento di Ingegneria Meccanica e Industriale of Universita' degli Studi Roma Tre (UROMA3) hosted the first Project Review Meeting for the ARISTOTEL project on 20-22 June 2012. The ARISTOTEL Consortium reported on the first 18 months of the project to the Project Officer from the European Commission. After a series of presentations and discussions on the work and results achieved so far, the overall progress project was well praised and appreciated by the EC. The ARISTOTELians fulfilled the goals laid down in the Description of Work for the first half of the project.

After such a favourable assessment by the Project Officer, the Consortium started the 3rd Progress Meeting reflecting the current status of the work and the future prospects of the project. During intense and fruitful discussions an action plan was laid down for the way forward of ARISTOTEL.

All in all, these two meetings showed, once again, that ARISTOTEL has perfectly met the demands of the Commission. Thanks to the very close cooperation and lively exchanges between the partners and their expertise, the success story of ARISTOTEL will continue.

Special thanks go to UROMA3 for the organisation of this combined meeting!

The next Progress Meeting will be held at the Technische Universiteit Delft in the Netherlands in November this year.
