17.09.2012, ARISTOTEL at the 38th EUROPEAN ROTORCRAFT FORUM in Amsterdam

The European Rotorcraft Forum (ERF) 2012 held between 4-7 September 2012 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, saw a lively participation of ARISTOTEL members.

The ERF is one of the most important events for the rotorcraft community. Presenting ARISTOTEL on this occasion was a "must". Four partners from the Consortium, i.e. TUD, UoL, Polimi and UROMA3, participated in the event and presented important aspects in the rotorcraft pilot couplings (RPC) phenomena revealed within the ARISTOTEL project. The forum dedicated a special session to RPC in order to present the advances in the area.

The ARISTOTEL project officer, Mr. Eric Lecomte from the European Commission expressed his positive view on the project for enhancing the safety of future aircraft. All ARISTOTEL members present at the forum received positive feedback on the work performed within ARISTOTEL from session chairman and other colleagues working in the field.

The ERF event, which was organised for the first time in 1975, now took place for the 38th time and was again a great success, not only for ARISTOTEL, but for the whole rotorcraft community. ARISTOTEL and its members are well embedded in this specialised community and the ARISTOTELians are already looking forward to contributing with their work, results and knowledge to the next American Helicopter Society Forum in Phoenix and European Rotorcraft Forum in Moscow in 2013.
