08.11.2011, 2nd Workshop of the ARISTOTEL project
Salon de Provence, October 5, 2011
On October 5, 2011, representatives from Eurocopter, the Institute of Movement Sciences (University of the Mediterranean) and the CEV Flight Tests Centre joined the beneficiaries of the ARISTOTEL consortium during their 2nd Progress Meeting for an internal workshop at ONERA in Salon de Provence, France.
The main aim of the half-day workshop consisted in an exchange between the industry and research institutions as well as universities. While the Institute of Movement Sciences presented aspects of their research activities, Eurocopter expressed their need with regard to an improvement of modelling and prediction and confirmed their interest in the research carried out within the framework of ARISTOTEL.
ARISTOTEL will strive to organise further focused workshops that serve a two-fold aim: inform relevant industrial companies and researchers about the project progress and at the same give ARISTOTEL direction and new impulse.
Presentations given at the workshop (pdf):
- Marilena Pavel (TU Delft, ARISTOTEL coordinator): “A short introduction to ARISTOTEL”
- Guillaume Rao (Institute of Movement Sciences): “Muscoloskeletal modelling to estimate internal forces during motion: What can we understand using this approach?”
- Laurent Scannapieco (Eurocopter): “RPC – A point of view from Industry”
- Cedric Danancher (CEV Flight Tests Centre): “CEV’s point of view on RPC” (cancelled)
