European Research and Project Office GmbH (Eurice)

Eurice is a spin-off company of Saarland University, founded in 2000 in order to assist and consult scientists, researchers and innovative companies in the area of EU research and project management. Eurice has been involved in EU Framework Programmes since FP5 and has been in charge of the management of over 80 EU-funded projects both as management and dissemination partner, and is currently managing nearly 30 international research projects with partners from more than 40 countries. Eurice has participated in FP5 project MESA and FP6 project MESEMA.

Eurice’s main tasks in ARISTOTEL focus on

  • administrative assistance: Eurice is in charge of administrative, legal and financial aspects of ARISTOTEL in close cooperation with the scientific coordinator
  • project management: as Project Management Office, Eurice assists the coordinator in all administrative, financial, formal and organisational aspects, including conflict and intercultural management
  • acting a s interface between the project consortium and the European Commission together with the coordinator
  • innovation related activities: Eurice will be responsible for all innovation-related activities, such as IPR issues, dissemination and exploitation of project results
